Janani – India's women-led farm-to-home marketplace.
Janani is the direct-to-consumer retail marketplace operated by Samanvaya Trust, connecting farm produce, groceries and women-made products with households across Karnataka.
How Janani started
Janani began with a simple observation: some of India's finest work comes from women running businesses from home studios, village workshops and small kitchens — and almost none of it reaches shoppers beyond their district.
We built a marketplace where those makers keep their own name on the product, set their own price, and reach customers across Karnataka.
Janani — a Samanvaya Trust initiative
Janani is the women-led, farm-to-home B2C retail marketplace operated by Samanvaya Trust. Our mission spans farm produce, groceries, millets, oils, spices, processed foods and women-made products.
Janani is one of Samanvaya Trust’s initiatives supporting women-led farms and small businesses.
